MCS Console guide

The Console is the main place to create and operate MCS ClickHouse services.

  • Services lists the ClickHouse services available to your organization.
  • New ClickHouse service starts the service creation flow.
  • Docs opens these guides without requiring a login.

Platform administrators also see Organizations, Keepers, and the Internal documentation section.

Service page

Each service has three main areas:

  • SQL Console runs SQL on a selected ClickHouse or ElasticQuery node.
  • Monitoring shows service health and SQL-backed operational views.
  • Settings changes supported service configuration and shows access credentials.

The service header shows the ClickHouse and ElasticQuery node counts. Select the status badge for component-level readiness.

Settings

General

  • ClickHouse nodes may scale from the current count up to five.
  • Node size ranges from 1 CPU / 4 GiB to 8 CPU / 32 GiB.
  • Release changes are upgrade only.

ElasticQuery

  • ElasticQuery is optional, independently scalable, and read-only.
  • Node count ranges from one to eight.
  • Node size ranges from 1 CPU / 4 GiB to 8 CPU / 32 GiB.

Access

The Access page displays the default ClickHouse administrator and its password. See Connections and credentials.

Danger Zone

Deleting a service removes the MCS service and its operator-owned runtime resources. Confirm the selected service before deleting it.

For the creation flow, see Getting started.
